[1] On this engine, all the filters are easily accessed, including the fuel filter (on its side, as it hasn’t been mounted yet), the fuel/water separator, the hydraulic filter and the air dryer. The oil filter is around the side of the motor.
[6] Spartan has automatic air dump valves; however, the owner needs to manually open the valves for 15 seconds once a month to ensure all the water is released. On this chassis, all the halyards are accessed through the frame in one spot and are color-coded.
