With the addition of two “value driven” floorplans, Thor Motor Coach has expanded its Palazzo line of diesel motorhomes. According to a press release, the new 33.2 floorplan targets the first-time diesel pusher buyer or the veteran RVer looking to downsize while the 33.3 bunk house model provides exceptional sleeping capacity for families.
The 33.2 model carries over many of the same features offered in the original 33.1 model but with several new amenities. The location of the dinette, leatherette sofa and Euro-recliner create an inviting living area, and the captain’s chairs swivel to add living area seating when parked. The dinette arrangement allows for full view of the 32-inch LED TV. Additional features in the 33.2 include a convertible linen closet which can accommodate an optional stackable washer/dryer and a large 30-by-36-inch shower in the private bath.
The 33.3 bunk house model is a true family motorhome that can sleep up to eight people — 10 with the optional overhead drop down bunk bed. The 32-inch LED TV is situated at the dinette for easy viewing from the dinette or sofa. Like other Palazzo models, a residential Whirlpool 18-cubic-foot refrigerator has plenty of room to keep all the food and beverages cold when hitting the road. Extra wardrobe and drawer space is designed throughout the coach providing ample storage space.
Every Palazzo motorhome is built on the Freightliner XC chassis equipped with a Cummins ISB diesel engine sporting 660-pound/feet of hill climbing torque. New features on all Palazzo floorplans include a 95-gallon fresh water tank for extended dry camping and an optional overhead drop-down bunk in the cockpit for additional sleeping.
Base MSRPs for both floorplans are around $190,000.
