Built for Two
Presented by MotorHome magazine

While traveling with the entire family, including children, grandkids, nieces, nephews,
second cousins twice removed, etc. can be an adventure in itself, sometimes all you need is
room for two. The Born Free 20′ Mini, while being the smallest model of the Born Free
Motorcoach fleet, proves that good things come in small packages.

The Class B coach fits the bill for a single person or a couple looking to enjoy the RVing
lifestyle without the hassle and expense of a larger rig. Since it’s easy to park and
drive, it lacks the intimidation factor of a Class A motorhome, and also gets great fuel
economy (an estimated 13 mpg). The standard model can be configured in a variety of
floorplans to fit specific needs; you can select from a combination of sofa beds, electric
incline beds, and a dinette that converts into a bed.

With a base MSRP just under $65,000, the Mini is not only affordable but comes with plenty
of standard amenities that are often found on larger RVs, such as hand-crafted oak
cabinetry, a full-service galley with two-burner cooktop and microwave convection oven,
corner lavatory with a toilet and molded fiberglass shower and a storage complex that
includes a three-quarter-size wardrobe above and a large rollout storage drawer below. The
only options are a 13,500-BTU roof air conditioner, a 3.6-kW auxiliary AC generator and an
LCD TV.

Built on a Ford E-350 chassis with a 6.8-liter V-10 engine and with a towing capacity of
5,000 pounds, the Mini is perfect for pulling a small boat or utility trailer, leading to
endless recreational opportunities that are only limited by your own imagination.
