Web Resource Offers Camp-Hosting Jobs

RV enthusiasts seeking an RV camp-hosting position have a valuable new
resource from Take Pride in America and the Good Sam Club. Take Pride
announced a new online partnership of the popular Volunteer Campground
Hosts program, as part of its ongoing relationship with the Good Sam
Club.

Volunteer hosts and potential hosts can search hundreds of
available opportunities from the Take Pride website. The new search
function serves as a one-stop cyber location for those interested in the
campground host program and allows them to easily browse through
available campsites and details of host positions.

The Volunteer Campground Hosts program is designed to place
thousands of volunteers in positions at facilities run by the National
Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the United States Forest
Service, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and state parks
throughout the United States. Hosts are RVers who assist park personnel
in performing some of the services that have been cut from park budgets
throughout the years. In exchange, they get free RV space and hookups.
Typical host duties include fee collection, light maintenance, litter
pickup, etc.

Volunteer hosts are needed year-round in the coastal and
Southern states, and Memorial Day through Labor Day in the north and
central regions.
