Free Park Entrance on National Public Lands Day Sept. 26

From National Park Service

September 26 is National Public Lands Day. On that day, all national parks will waive entrance fees.

Also, Dan Wenk, acting director of the National Park Service (NPS),
has mandated that on Sept. 26, every park will have or participate in a
volunteer/outreach event.

Information about events will be uploaded from the event calendars
of individual parks to a national calendar of events accessed via the National Park Service Web site.

You can also check with individual parks for events and volunteer opportunities.

For more information, visit National Public Lands Day.
