Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park

From an overlook on Signal Mountian, visitors look down to the north-east on Jackson Hole and a bend in the Snake River. The Yellowstone/Teton regeon is the rising site of prominent rivers that flow to the three great watersheds of the West. The Yellowstone River flows north and east to the Missouri, the Green or Seedskadee flows south to the Colorado, and the Snake makes its wide turns from north to south to north, through its’ deep canyon and into the Clearwater and on to the Columbia.

Bikers enjoy an eight-mile trail that follows Teton Park Road.
Ospreys tend to their nest on the fringe of the park.
